A nuzlocke is challenge that is used in the Pokémon games to increase the difficulty. The rules of a nuzlocke are that you can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter on each route. If you are unable to catch it, then you don't get another chance to catch a Pokémon until you arrive at the next route. If a Pokémon faints, then you have to store it in the Pokémon Centre PC box and not use it again. If you run out of Pokémon, then you lose the game. You also have to nickname every Pokémon you catch as well.
I completed a nuzlocke on Pokémon Platinum earlier this year. After I defeated Cynthia, I had three Pokémon left on my team that didn't faint during the nuzlocke.

I'm doing a Blue Version Nuzlocke (3DS eShop version), and I think I'm pretty far into the game and haven't lost any Pokémon yet. It's been a while since I've played it, though.
I also started a few other Nuzlockes that I never finished: LeafGreen, X, and Shining Pearl.

Nuzlocks are a cool challenge. though the “Pokémon is dead” thing kinda always makes me just a liiittle meloncoly but not a whole lot cos I know it’s just a game. Lol I did try a few on fire red, but I am bad at them xD
