What music streaming app do you use to listen to music?
I've been using Spotify for years. I have a Spotify premium account.

Spotify, YouTube, my old iPod (it has music files I don't have access to anymore), and YouTube. Spotify is the main one I use, though.

Old school here, I have locally stored music that I play with VLC. I use VLC on both desktop and mobile. Sometimes I'll use YouTube through a browser (or the NewPipe app on mobile) to listen to something new, and if I like it I'll download it (using yt-dlp on desktop or NewPipe on mobile) and add it to my library.
I don't like having to rely on an internet service like Spotify for music. You can only guarantee access to something if you have a local copy of it.

To be fair, you actually can download Spotify playlists and have them on your device. I have a playlist downloaded on my phone for when I'm out places and lose my connection. I think that might be just for the premium version of Spotify, though (but I'm not sure). Also, you can import local files into Spotify, but I think you can get in trouble if you import files that weren't obtained from a legitimate source. Before I used Spotify and other streaming services, I bought music from Amazon or iTunes and put it on my iPod Touch. Before that I bought CD's, imported them into iTunes, and synced them to my iPods. Before that I used portable CD players. I do miss not having to worry that I can't listen to a specific song/artist because it's not on the service I'm using, but I guess that's what importing files is for. Unfortunately, with Spotify, you can only listen to them on that same device -- meaning I can't toss my MP3's into Spotify on desktop and listen to them on my phone. I was irritated when I found that out, since Apple Music lets you do that.
