Join team yell in this thread! XD well, talk about one of the coolest powerful female trainers in the Pokémon series here. Marnie is one of my favourite trainers in the series cos she is tough yet kind and her fashion sense is really cool. She wants to help spikemoth in the anime too which is admirable. It’s great to find admirable females in the Pokémon series, and I consider Marnie a pretty cool and brave trainer in terms of the Pokémon female trainers. Probably the overall most powerful female trainer is Cynthia, though. Still; marnie could use some appriciation here since she is just all around cool And jackets in general never go out of style xD It’s great to find good ideas for girl powerish threads xD Sometime I might make a powerful female trainers in general thread. There’s some stuff that is causing me anxiety about going through with it, though, that I probably won’t go into detail about…. (some general past cringe stuff is the best way to put it)

When I first saw Marnie, I thought something like "Oh great, they're going to have a goth villain and have stereotypes about how all goths are bad people". I was impressed that they didn't go that route AT ALL and made her a nice person. Her fashion sense is amazing, and she's a great character. I also like how she wears pink with black, since it makes her style cute as well as tough. Her hairstyle is also great. Morpeko is a great partner for her, too.

Yeah, I dislike negetive stereo types like that of goths too (and also of girly girls…). I also don’t like when people stereo type people who are goth as pessimists, because it makes it feel wrong to like that stuff for me, too o.o as I am working on an optimism goal (and am VERY aware that overall pessimism can be really toxic) Thankfully, perky goth is an actual thing, and I even think it’s showing up more in media these days, too like, even Marnie I wouldn’t really say is a pessimist. She does work on smiling in the anime and games. Negative stereo types in general bother me; although I know there is often villains in media, so I try to not let it get to me as much anymore. As long as people know balence. Also, it’s good to not make a character perfectly good or perfectly bad. What’s awesome is anime knows not to do stuff like that, so stereo types never bothered me too much in anime as a result
